Job Description:
An established U.S. manufacturer with a long-standing reputation for quality and innovation is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join its team. Founded over 60 years ago, this organization has grown from producing a single open-coil heating element into a trusted supplier of highly engineered resistance heating solutions used in medical equipment, aerospace, semiconductor, industrial, and other precision-driven industries. About the Role This position plays a critical role in enhancing manufacturing efficiency, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring production processes meet the highest standards of quality and safety. It is well-suited for an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment and enjoys solving complex operational challenges. Key Responsibilities Design, redesign, and optimize work areas, workflows, and manufacturing layouts Apply best practices in electro-mechanical manufacturing , including soldering, metals, and welding Support and promote 6S initiatives to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workplace Establish and maintain time standards to measure efficiency and labor costs Identify process deviations and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions Develop and maintain management information, planning, and control systems Implement process improvements to reduce costs and enhance overall performance Maintain and update routings and bills of materials (BOMs) Actively participate in safety initiatives and compliance efforts What We're Looking For Required Qualifications B.S. degree in Engineering Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Manufacturing Engineer Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Working knowledge of SolidWorks Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams What We Offer Climate-controlled manufacturing environment Competitive benefits package 401(k) with company match Stable organization with a long, respected history in manufacturing Exposure to diverse, highly regulated industries Important to Know This role supports high-precision manufacturing in demanding markets.
