Job Description

Immediate Hiring - Chief Design Manufacturing Engineer (Defense Programs) We are seeking an experienced Chief Design Manufacturing Engineer to lead manufacturing engineering activities supporting complex defense and aerospace systems. This role is responsible for driving design for manufacturability, process engineering, cost reduction, production scalability, and operational excellence across mission-critical military communication and maritime systems.

Mandatory Requirements to Apply Active US Secret Security Clearance OR ability to obtain one US Citizenship required Bachelor's degree in: Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Engineering Related technical field 15+ years of manufacturing development program experience Strong experience with: Design for Manufacturability (DFM) Design for Assembly (DFA) Lean Manufacturing Production scalability Cost reduction initiatives Experience with: Product lifecycle management Process engineering Engineering development programs Defense/aerospace manufacturing environments Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills 2. Roles & Responsibilities Lead manufacturing engineering activities for defense and aerospace systems programs . Drive improvements in manufacturing scalability, operational efficiency, and cost reduction . Implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and process optimization strategies . Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to support program execution. Develop and implement disciplined Systems Engineering processes and manufacturing best practices .
Pay:
$130,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
