Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to drive continuous improvement initiatives across production, packaging, and distribution operations. This role will focus on optimizing processes, improving efficiency, implementing automation solutions, and supporting data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. CPG, Food & Beverage, or related manufacturing experience is required. Key Responsibilities Analyze and improve production, packaging, and distribution processes to increase throughput, quality, and cost efficiency. Design and implement workflow, layout, and automation improvements. Lead capital projects, including equipment selection, installation, and performance validation. Develop and monitor KPIs and dashboards to support operational performance. Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. Conduct time studies, line balancing, and capacity planning. Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance teams to implement sustainable process improvements. Create SOPs, train teams, and track project ROI. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. 4+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or Continuous Improvement experience. Experience in CPG, Food & Beverage, Packaging, or high-volume manufacturing environments. Strong background in process optimization, automation, and data analysis. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar reporting tools. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and facility layout improvements. Excellent project management and communication skills. Preferred Lean Six Sigma or PMP certification. Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, robotics, and AutoCAD.
