Maryland Warehouse | Full-Time | On-Site

We manage everything from design to manufacturing and installation for exceptional multi-family new developments and property upgrades. POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our Maryland team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing production line operations, improving manufacturing processes, and ensuring that our cabinet products are built to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will work closely with production, quality, and operations teams to drive continuous improvement across our facility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and optimize production line processes for cabinet manufacturing Identify and implement process improvements to increase throughput, reduce waste, and enhance product quality Develop and maintain standard work documentation, SOPs, and manufacturing guidelines Troubleshoot production line issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner Collaborate with the operations team to plan and execute equipment layouts and line balancing Support new product introductions by developing efficient manufacturing processes from the ground up Conduct time and motion studies to evaluate cycle times and identify bottlenecks Partner with quality control to establish and monitor inspection standards Lead and participate in root cause analysis for production defects or failures Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with safety regulations and company standards Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports on production efficiency Mentor and provide technical guidance to production staff as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Proven hands-on experience working directly on a production line in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma) Proficiency reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files Experience developing and maintaining SOPs and work instructions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven warehouse environment
Preferred:
Experience in cabinet, furniture, millwork, or wood products manufacturing Familiarity with multifamily construction or residential building products Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification Experience with ERP or MES systems
