About the Role We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead Continuous Improvement initiatives while supporting day-to-day production operations. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will work directly on the factory floor to improve processes, reduce costs, enhance quality, and increase efficiency. You will also partner closely with the Production Manager to support daily operations and team development. This role is ideal for someone who wants to expand beyond traditional engineering and grow into an operations leadership role . What We're Looking For

  • A future leader interested in growing into future operations roles Key Responsibilities Continuous Improvement Lead initiatives to improve manufacturing processes, efficiency, and productivity Identify and implement labor reduction and cost-saving opportunities Drive Lean Manufacturing efforts (5S, Kaizen, standard work, visual management) Improve quality at the source and reduce defects Analyze production data, workflows, and time studies to identify inefficiencies Lead cross-functional projects from concept through implementation Manufacturing Engineering Improve product designs for manufacturability and cost reduction Create and maintain work instructions, drawings, and bills of materials Optimize workflow, equipment layout, and material flow Support new product introductions and production readiness Assist with equipment selection, installation, and process improvements Production & Operations Support Support daily production activities alongside the Production Manager Assist with work order creation and ERP system management Help with production planning, scheduling, and labor tracking Support training and development of production employees Contribute to maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment Job Requirements and Qualifications •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field 1-5+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or operations Experience with ERP systems Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement principles (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc.
) Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to manage projects and drive results Strong communication and teamwork skills Hands-on, proactive mindset with a willingness to take initiative What's in it for you Competitive compensation Paid time off: Vacation days; Holidays; Sick days.
