Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer (DFM/NPI)

Location:

Brighton, MI This is a full time, in office role

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead DFM assessment and manufacturability analysis for new product development. Support scaled global manufacturing and mass production readiness. Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, production lines and automation solutions. Work with engineering teams to ensure designs meet manufacturability and cost targets. Support trial production, production ramp and mass production implementation. Drive cost reduction and manufacturing efficiency initiatives. Collaborate with automation teams and manufacturing plants to implement new equipment and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Strong experience supporting global manufacturing operations and high volume production. Experience with automated manufacturing lines and industrial automation. Knowledge of electronic assembly processes and production equipment. Strong problem solving skills and ability to work with international manufacturing teams. Willingness to travel frequently to Mexico manufacturing facilities.
