Utilize CAD/CAM software to design parts and program manufacturing processes.
Work directly with specialized, user-friendly hydraulic manifold software to design circuits and optimize manifold layouts.
Act as the technical expert on the floor, ensuring that engineering designs are practical, manufacturable, and aligned with the physical capabilities of the machine operators and equipment.
Guide junior engineering staff, instilling practical manufacturing sensibilities into their design workflows (e.g., proper cross-drilling and understanding hydraulic flow). experience 4-7 years skills A collaborative leader who can work closely with the executive team and effectively manage shop-floor staff. qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
Practical, hands-on experience in a machine shop environment is highly preferred (e.g., personal experience operating a lathe or similar equipment).Expertise in CAD/CAM software. Experience with hydraulic circuit/manifold design software is a major plus.
