Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Are you looking to work for a company that provides an innovative work environment, and your voice is heard? We have a position for a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to work onsite at our client in Southfield, MI .

Support cost estimation for new products and progra ms.

Support new product launch es.

Lead standardization and innovation initiatives within the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering te am.

Interface with the industrial engineering team to determine equipment requiremen ts.

Write technical purchasing specifications for custom assembly equipme nt.

Manage equipment projects from planning through installati on.

Develop and maintain documentation of standards for key equipme nt.

Travel to support plants (25% average, 50% pea k).Work in a fast-paced, project-based environment with high impact and visibili ty.

Work hands-on with processes and equipme nt.

Interact with other departments on cross-functional tea ms. What you'll need to be success ful:

Essent ial:

More than 5 years of experience in Industrial Engineer ing.

Project management experie nce.

Technical writing experie nce.

Proficiency in AutoCAD LT / 2D.Experience with assembly equipment (build pallets, conveyors, end-of-line testers, et c.).Strong communication and interpersonal ski lls.

Must demonstrate high attention to det ail.

Must have a high sense of urge ncy.

Travel required: 25% average, up to 50% at p eak.
Prefe rred:
Experience in JIT seating or automo tive.

Experience with industrial control systems such as PLC.Ability to define assembly pro cess.

Engineering / process change control experi ence.

MOST tra ined.

Line balancing experi ence.

Experience writing standard work instruct ions.

APQP experi ence.
