Manufacturing Engineer Description Build Your Career as a Manufacturing Engineer in a Growing Organization We are seeking a talented and driven Manufacturing Engineer to develop efficient manufacturing systems and machining requirements in a fast-paced industrial equipment environment. This role works cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to optimize manufacturability, improve workflows, and support both existing and new product development initiatives. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who performs well with a high degree of autonomy and thrives in a continuous improvement-focused culture. Responsibilities Perform in-depth investigations into manufacturing processes and products as assigned by management. Utilize sound engineering principles to evaluate manufacturability of new and existing products based on feedback from customers, sales, engineering, manufacturing, and service teams. Act as a liaison between Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing to support efficient production processes. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize product designs and reduce labor and overhead costs. Review form, fit, and function of product designs utilizing SolidWorks. Develop manufacturing documentation to support tooling, production, and manufacturing preparation activities. Support testing and analysis of assemblies, prototypes, and manufacturing processes to improve workflow and cost efficiency. Work with Quality Control on non-conformance investigations and corrective actions. Interface with suppliers and vendors regarding purchased components, materials, and manufacturing processes. Provide occasional engineering field support and customer-facing technical assistance as needed. Utilize power and hand tools and assist with engineering evaluations involving parts weighing up to 40 pounds. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline preferred. 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong SolidWorks experience required. Experience may include machine design, tooling, controls, manufacturing support, or field service. Experience operating machining equipment preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. ERP system experience preferred. Packaging, automation, custom machinery, or industrial equipment experience is a plus. #IND1Similar remote jobs
