Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to strengthen our production machining and process optimization capabilities, with a focus on evaluating work holding, fixturing, and dimensional outputs to identify patterns, trends, and recommend adjustments that improve quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and optimize work holding/fixturing for 3
  • 4• and 5-axis CNC operations; read/interpret GD&T and CMM reports; perform statistical analysis of dimensional data to identify trends and recommend adjustments.
Design workflows, gaging solutions, detailed equipment/process layouts, and clear written instructions. Coordinate with programmers, quality, operations, and customer engineering to develop/improve processes, manage design changes, and drive corrective actions. Keep equipment operational by troubleshooting, coordinating maintenance/repairs, and providing manufacturing expertise across all projects. Leverage SolidWorks to open files, measure, and sketch concepts; utilize Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for presentations. Implement, assist, and troubleshoot engineering projects from concept to completion, including training/guiding technicians.
Manage product design updates:
review, communicate, document, and file changes.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in production machining, with strong knowledge in 3
  • 4• and 5-axis CNC machining and work holding.
Ability to read and interpret GD&T and CMM reports. Proficiency in statistical analysis of dimensional data to drive process improvements. Familiarity with various material types (aluminum, steel, cast, extruded, structural, plate, etc.) to inform machining decisions. General CAD experience, preferably SolidWorks (ability to open files, measure, and sketch ideas). Experience creating workflows, gauging, and written process instructions. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Prior work in an ISO or AS certified manufacturing environment, preferred. Strong communication skills for working with customer, engineering and quality teams. Bonus Skills (Not Required): Program management or product launch experience. MS Project proficiency. Fabrication or welding experience. CNC programming experience.
