Multi-Billion Dollar manufacturing company located in the Jackson Michigan area is looking for Manufacturing Engineer
JOB DUTIES
Plans, directs and coordinates manufacturing processes in a machining environment. Identify root cause and corrective actions to solve issues with processes, systems, or equipment. This includes coordinating and leading initiatives with other departments when applicable. Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, material and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities. Coordinate New Program Launches - Design, line layouts, capital procurement, equipment programming, setup, and training. Develop / troubleshoot manufacturing processes to meet or exceed established metrics (TRS, Scrap, Process Capability, Tool CPP, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree 3+ years' experience working in a manufacturing environment 1+ year working in a machining environment - with experience working on CNC machines, setup and programming Lean Manufacturing
