Description The Lead Manufacturing Engineer is a subject matter expert responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance production capabilities and support product development. •
Essential Functions:
•+ Support the production team by troubleshooting equipment and process issues. + Lead the development of process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures. + Conduct analysis of production data to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and process enhancements. + Significant contribution to the setup and calibration of manufacturing equipment. + Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma projects. + Develop manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes. + Actively participate with engineering project teams to coordinate the release of new products. + Estimate and track manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. + Defines, develops and transfers manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies and systems. + Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations. + Develops, implements and analyzes manufacturing engineering plans and projects and communicates them to internal and external customers. Position Requirements + Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field with 9+ years related experience. + Masters Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field with 7+ years related experience. + Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) + Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills + Advanced knowledge of automation and process improvement tools + Strong project management skills utilizing microsoft project Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt EOE Statement RENK America is proud to be an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
