This dynamic position combines hands-on problem solving with customer-facing engagement, requiring deep knowledge of grinding processes, abrasives technology, fluids, and durable tooling. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results. Responsibilities Provide solutions to customers for micro and superfinishing applications using our abrasive, fluid, and tooling products Help achieve customer requirements and specifications Promote and sell abrasive, fluid, and tooling products Provide on-site process development services for customer (consulting, testing, training, and troubleshooting) Maintain strong customer relationships by conducting regular visits to customer locations and supporting customers' needs and goals Provide prompt and transparent information to the aftermarket-parts and service teams relating to customer needs and opportunities Provide application and process development support for machinery manufacturing projects and the field service team Facilitate the development of new abrasive, fluid, and tooling technologies by working with our manufacturing partners and engineering team Research current and emerging abrasive, fluid, and tooling technologies and market needs and present findings to aid in strategic planning activities Participate in technical discussions like reviewing and approving machine concepts for quotation and assisting with problems and analysis during the machine build and after shipment Prepare and maintain revenue forecasts related to your activities Maintain accurate and current information in our company CRM and ERP system Minimum Requirements Travel frequency: 20-25% of annual working time Primary travel region: USA, Mexico, Canada Occasional travel to other countries depending on customer base and needs 3 years of experience in a manufacturing sector or performing similar job functions as described in the job responsibilities. Experience with abrasive metal removal processes in manufacturing settings Understanding of grinding metal removal processes Experience selecting appropriate abrasive types for different manufacturing applications Experience using 2D CAD software Experience using 3D modeling software for parts and assemblies Excellent understanding of dimensional tolerancing and geometric tolerancing Excellent competency with Microsoft Office software programs including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Excellent organization skills Excellent communication skills Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences . Preferred Qualifications Experience setting up and operating manual and NC/CNC controlled grinding machinery Experience performing tool touch off and tool change over of metal removal or grinding machinery 5 years of experience providing direct support for high precision grinding, microfinishing, or superfinishing processes Proficient in the use of 3D modeling software for parts, assemblies, and drawings Associates of Science Degree Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, General Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Related Field of Study This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your expertise in a collaborative environment while contributing directly to innovative projects that shape our future technology landscape.
