This role focuses on driving measurable improvements in productivity, quality, cost, and delivery through the application of Lean methodologies, including Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen, 5S, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of facilitating and executing Lean initiatives within an engineering or manufacturing environment. Includes the daily production support of manufacturing assembly processes to achieve the desired levels of safety, quality and productivity Designs, specifies and develops new manufacturing equipment, test stations and fixtures Develop and implement manufacturing procedures, checklists, trouble shooting guides, work instructions, visuals, etc. Develops and maintains plant layouts, floor space requirements, equipment capacity and assists with facility maintenance projects
- Lead the planning, facilitation, and execution of Lean improvement projects across multiple functions and processes.
- Develop and update Value Stream Maps to identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate Kaizen events and cross-functional workshops to drive rapid improvements.
- Implement TPM practices to increase equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Partner with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to embed a culture of continuous improvement.
- Train and mentor employees at all levels on Lean tools and problem-solving techniques.
- Measure and report performance metrics to demonstrate the impact of improvement initiatives.
- Support strategic planning and provide technical expertise in Lean methodologies for long-term operational excellence.

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred, but not required).
- 5-10 years of engineering experience with a focus on Lean facilitation and continuous improvement in manufacturing or similar environments.
- Demonstrated experience implementing Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, 5S, TPM, and other Lean tools.
- Strong project management and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities; data-driven approach to decision making.
- Exceptional communication, coaching, and training skills at all organizational levels.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
- Knowledge of Shannin Problem Solving practices or related methodologies.
- Lean transformation experience is a strong plus but not required.
- Ability to organize and lead dynamic projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating at all levels of management internally and externally.
- Experience working globally and cross-culturally.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community, foster a cooperative work environment and communicate at all levels.
- Hands-on problem-solving ability with a sense of urgency.
- Efficient and effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
