Full Job Description Description:
Global CNC Industries is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, enhancing productivity, and driving continuous improvement efforts.
Process Optimization:
Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective solutions to increase throughput and overall productivity. Tulip.co
Application Development:
Utilize the Tulip.co MES system to design, develop, and deploy custom applications tailored to meet specific manufacturing requirements. These applications may include data collection, work instructions, quality checks, and real-time monitoring tools.
Shop Floor Testing:
Take a hands-on approach by testing the developed Tulip.co applications directly on the shop floor. Evaluate the functionality, usability, and effectiveness of the applications, and make necessary adjustments to ensure smooth integration and optimal performance.
Continuous Improvement:
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Regularly gather feedback from shop floor operators, production teams, and management to identify areas for enhancement and fine-tuning of existing applications.
Training and Documentation:
Develop comprehensive documentation for the custom applications created, including user manuals, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Conduct training sessions for shop floor personnel to ensure seamless adoption and understanding of the new systems.
Data Analysis:
Leverage data gathered from the Tulip.co system to conduct in-depth analyses and generate actionable insights. Use these insights to make data-driven decisions, streamline processes, and improve overall efficiency.
Collaboration and Communication:
Foster a collaborative work environment by working closely with other manufacturing engineers, production managers, software developers, and relevant stakeholders. Maintain clear and effective communication channels to ensure the successful implementation of projects.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in manufacturing process optimization, preferably in a CNC machining environment. Hands-on experience with MES systems, specifically Tulip.co, and ability to create custom applications using the platform. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive process improvements. Excellent problem-solving skills and a demonstrated track record of implementing successful solutions. Proficiency in programming languages or logic-based languages is a plus. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based setting. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
