$42.30/hourWe are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer for a temporary, onsite role supporting axle assembly operations. This position focuses on driving process improvement, lean manufacturing, and production efficiency within a high-volume automotive environment.Key Responsibilities:
Support manufacturing process engineering for axle assembly operationsLead continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, and productivityAnalyze and optimize manufacturing processes using engineering and problem-solving techniquesManage equipment delivery, installation, and commissioning projectsConduct process audits and ensure adherence to manufacturing standardsIdentify production constraints and implement corrective actions to improve throughputPerform ergonomic assessments and implement safety improvementsDevelop process documentation, instructions, and quality standardsLead root cause analysis for defects, inventory issues, and machining concernsEnsure compliance with plant, corporate, environmental, and governmental regulationsQualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred5+ years of manufacturing process engineering experienceStrong background in lean manufacturing, process validation, and problem-solvingExperience with PPAP, FMEA, Six Sigma, or DOE preferredExcellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skillsExperience with automotive components or axle systems is a plusEmployee Benefits:
