Manufacturing Reports to : Department Production Manager Summary/Objective H.A. Automotive Systems, INC. is looking for an Assembly Process Engineer! The Assembly Process Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, controlling and optimizing industrial processes within our Automotive Assembly program. The Assembly Process Engineer ensures that processes run smoothly and efficiently while meeting quality standards and regulatory requirements. The main responsibility of Assembly Process Engineer includes the debugging and trouble-shooting of molded parts in the early stages. The responsibility of maintaining quality control of components, satisfactory completion of task indicators, enhancing team-work and business functions. Essential Duties Conducting research to develop new and improved processes for our Assembly Responsible for promoting a safe work environment and preventing injuries through the use of, but not limited to, 6S, job rotation, and ergonomic work practices. Developing methods for separating components Designing and planning of equipment layout Conducting tests and monitoring process performance throughout the production Following all IATF-16949 and
ISO-14001
policies and procedures. Adhering to company policies and regulations Balancing quality, productivity, cost, and safety to achieve positive results in all areas. Working to continuously improve all areas. Processing all non-conforming parts and products to ensure accurate inventory accounts within department. Communicating with Quality Department on Corrective and Preventive actions for customer complaints and internal quality issues. Continuously analyzing the assigned area of responsibility for improved methods of production, communication, reporting, cost controls, and make recommendations to the appropriate departments to maximize efficiency. Conducting daily production meetings Ensuring that first shot approval is obtained from Quality Inspectors Documenting all problems and process changes and providing action plans with supervisor. Daily communication with various departments and all levels of management through email, telephone, face-to-face is necessary in order to optimize the efficiency of the operations. Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, mechanical or related 2. +3 years' experience in Automotive Management/Manufacturing Experience 3. Strong leadership skills 4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills 5. Strong data analysis and problem solving skills 6. Good interpersonal skills 7. Knowledge of product manufacturing process 8. Strong computer skills with MS Office knowledge 9. Experience using SAP and MES software 10.Basic understanding of OSHA standards Preferred Qualifications-Not Required 1. Flexible to adapt to changes in scheduling, able to handle high-stress decision making scenarios. 2. Speaking/understanding Mandarin-Chinese is a plus, but not required to join our team!
