As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will play a vital role in driving the efficiency, quality, and productivity of our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for analysis, implementing, and improving manufacturing methods and systems. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, you will contribute to the successful production of high-quality Trystar products for our customers. This position requires a willingness to learn, strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to optimize manufacturing operations. Demonstrate Trystars guiding principles and values. Work directly with a mentor while finding solutions to real world problemsWork on projects that are related to your areas of interest and study with a high level of autonomy and ownership. These projects are designed to bring value to our business.

Assist in the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques (waste observation/elimination, recovery, etc.).Evaluates and troubleshoots process issues focused on improving Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory (SQDCI) Metrics.

Delivers manufacturing cost reduction and continuous improvement projects and collaborates with the cross-functional team to complete assigned projects on time.

Develop and maintain comprehensive work instructions, procedures, and documentation for manufacturing processes. Standardize operations to ensure consistency, safety, and quality.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to the production team during the manufacturing process. Resolve production issues, implement process changes, and ensure adherence to production schedules and targets.

Analyze and evaluate methods of production and communicate ways to improve current practices.

Experience our products up close by working in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in an on-site position at the Faribault, MN facility.

Job Requirements:

Pursing a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
