Job Description

Manufacturing Engineer (Warren, MI). Create tech. data pkgs. for customer presentations & executive mgmt. team. Develop tooling & fixture designs that minimize investment & maintain safety, quality & efficiency. Provide time-sensitive solutions per cust. needs/reqs. Attend engg. mtgs, oversee mfg. programs, & ensure smooth ops. Collaborate w/mech. engg. team & mgrs. in designing fixtures & address any issues. Provide visual mgmt/aid on mfg. process & review cycle time studies on each process. Reqs. Masters degree in Mech. Engg., Mfg. Engg., or closely rel. field, or a for. eqvlt, & 1 yr. of industry exp. working w/auto. OEMs. Exp. must incl. new mfg. model product launch setup & execg mgmt., mfg. optimizatn, proj. planning covering tooling needs, customized solution designs w/engg. teams, proj. budget & profitability oversight, & DFMEA, PFMEA, FMEA, & APQC.
