- Sr. Manufacturing Engineer
- will lead the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity. This role drives projects, partners with cross-functional teams, and supports continuous improvement across operations, with a focus on optimizing existing plastic extrusion and packaging processes.
- What you will be doing:
- + Manage and lead projects related to process improvement, cost reduction, and new product introductions + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution within defined timelines and budget constraints + Work closely with product design teams to ensure that designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and align with production capabilities + Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on manufacturability and process considerations + Lead the design and development of manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with production goals and quality standards + Implement improvements to existing processes, utilizing Lean and Six Sigma principles to optimize efficiency + Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and implement solutions to increase overall effectiveness + Drive initiatives to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance overall operational efficiency + Provide technical support to manufacturing teams, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to processes, equipment, and materials + Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to implement measures that enhance product quality and reliability + Develop and implement quality control procedures and systems + Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and safety protocols + Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices + Conduct cost analysis for manufacturing processes, identifying opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality + Follow all company safety policies and procedures + Attend all required company training + Demonstrate commitments to Stratasys Behaviors by leading, acting, and modeling these values + Other responsibilities as assigned by the department or manager •Must have for this role:•+ Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent/related + 5+ years related experience, or advanced degree + Extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on process development, optimization, and project management.

- + Master's degree in manufacturing or mechanical a plus + Previous experience using additive manufacturing
