Job Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment. Conduct process capability studies and implement statistical process control (SPC) techniques. Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Collaborate with R D, Quality, and Production teams to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and smooth new product introductions (NPIs). Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, process flowcharts, and control plans. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. Evaluate and select new manufacturing technologies and equipment. Provide technical support and training to production personnel. Participate in facility layout and capacity planning. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably within a high-volume production environment. Minimum of 1-2 years of medical device experience Proven experience with process optimization, Lean Manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma methodologies. Working Knowledge of IQ/OQ/PQ and PPQ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of successful root cause analysis. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing simulation tools. Linux knowledge is a plus Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of industry quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001). Experience with automated manufacturing systems is a plus. What Can Jabil Offer You?
