Rate :
$58.48/hour W2 Position Summary Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations through process improvement, manufacturing optimization, and equipment support. This role will focus on improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost across manufacturing processes while partnering closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams. Key Responsibilities Support and improve manufacturing processes to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery objectives Analyze production workflows and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste Develop and update standard work, process documentation, and work instructions Support new product introductions and manufacturing changes, including process validation and layout updates Troubleshoot production issues related to equipment, materials, or processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, quality, maintenance, and engineering Assist with capital equipment projects, tooling design, and equipment modifications Use lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, root cause analysis) Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 1-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (level may be adjusted) Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and production systems Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work effectively in a team-based, fast-paced manufacturing environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with manufacturing systems or CAD tools is a plus Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Experience in high-volume manufacturing Exposure to automation, tooling, or equipment design Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives Familiarity with safety, ergonomics, and quality systems Benefits + Perks Comprehensive Benefit Plan Hollstadt offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, paid sick leave, and retirement benefits to eligible employees.
