Duties:

Act as a "hands-on" / "working manager" to lead the product & systems engineering group (with 6 direct reports) Oversee execution, technical direction, and team development in a customer-specific / machine design environment Set and communicate engineering goals, aligned with business priorities Work closely with cross-functional leaders to drive new product development, research, and customer programs Oversee personnel matters such as hiring, developing/coaching, and evaluating department engineers Lead the design electro-mechanical automation/power transmission products (includes precision-machined components)

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or similar 6+ years of professional experience 2+ years of experience as an engineering manager or engineering supervisor Experience as a "working manager" Strong machine / systems design experience Experience designing or incorporating power transmission/motion control components (motors, gears, actuators, drives, sensors, etc.) 3D CAD experience (Solidworks a plus) Experience working in a low-volume, high-mix environment preferred Strong communication and customer service skills

Salary:

$140-160K
