Manufacturing EngineerSalary
Our Fenton facility serves as the primary manufacturing, engineering, and testing hub for the business. This site supports precision machining, assembly, testing, and validation for both high-volume production and custom-engineered products. Manufacturing engineers at this location are deeply embedded on the shop floor, working directly with operators, technicians, and supervisors to ensure processes are safe, repeatable, and optimized.
We support customers across compressed air, automotive systems, fire protection, specialty gas, medical systems, fluid power, pressure washer equipment, and agricultural and food and beverage applications. Our components are often critical to the performance and safety of customer systems, making manufacturing execution and process control essential.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will serve as a hands-on technical presence on the shop floor, owning day-to-day process support while driving improvements to quality, throughput, and manufacturability.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct, hands-on manufacturing support on the production floor, resolving process, tooling, and quality issues in real time.
Develop, refine, and maintain work instructions, routings, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent execution.
Use SolidWorks to support manufacturing through fixture design, tooling updates, layout changes, and minor product modifications.
Partner closely with operators, supervisors, quality, and design engineering to improve manufacturability and reduce scrap and rework.
Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, yield, and cost reduction.
Required and Preferred Skills and ExperienceBachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience working hands-on in a machining, assembly, or industrial manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of SolidWorks for creating and modifying tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing-related designs.
Strong problem-solving skills with experience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Nice to have: experience with valves, fluid control components, regulated manufacturing environments, or ERP/MRP systems.
