Job Description:
Field Applications Specialist - Bakery Equipment Kansas City, MO A global leader in food?processing and packaging technology, is seeking a Field Applications Specialist with strong experience in bakery production equipment . This role blends hands?on technical expertise, customer training, and process optimization across commercial bakery environments.
Responsibilities:
Analyze dough handling, sheeting, laminating, depositing, proofing, baking, and packaging workflows. Set up, test, and optimize bakery machinery at customer facilities. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC?related issues. Deliver hands?on training for production, QA, and maintenance teams. Assist with trials, product tests, and technical presentations. Provide clear service reports, recommendations, and improvement plans.
Qualifications:
3-5+ years working with industrial bakery equipment or food?processing machinery Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills Experience with equipment such as mixers, dividers, sheeters, laminators, depositors, slicers, ovens, and packaging lines Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics Comfort working in fast?paced production environments Willingness to travel 70% PLC familiarity (Siemens or Allen?

Bradley) Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, or SQF Prior OEM field service experience
