$33-$35/hr Job Summary The Design Engineer provides technical engineering support for the sales and manufacturing of standard and engineered products. Working independently, this role ensures product designs meet customer specifications, engineering standards, and internal quality requirements. Key Responsibilities Design specialized products to meet customer requirements. Provide technical data in CPQ, ERP, and other systems. Perform stress calculations and finite element analysis. Ensure technical accuracy of drawings, procedures, and installation instructions. Prepare product quotes including price, cost, and lead time. Communicate technical information with customers and vendors. Review and investigate tooling requirements and provide pricing. Support continuous improvement and engineering process efficiencies. Perform additional engineering tasks as required. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. High mechanical aptitude and ability to read manufacturing drawings. Advanced math skills and strong communication abilities. Knowledge of engineering standards and certification codes. Proficient with Microsoft Office, CPQ, ERP, CAD, and PDM systems. Preferred Attributes Strong attention to detail and focus on quality. Time-management and prioritization skills. Ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
