12 Months Job Overview Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support day-to-day plant operations and facility initiatives across two Mississippi sites. This role focuses on process improvement, layout optimization, documentation, and engineering support within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation Analyze and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality Create and update equipment and facility layouts using AutoCAD Support production flow, material flow, and facility changes Review electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and blueprints Coordinate with vendors/contractors for onsite work execution Assist with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions Support continuous improvement and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience Strong AutoCAD experience (facility/equipment layouts) Experience with process documentation and standard work Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings 2+ years of SAP experience (POs, requisitions, inventory/material planning) Experience in a manufacturing plant environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) Experience in automotive manufacturing (preferred) Exposure to power/energy industry (plus) Basic knowledge of CNC and industrial/electrical systems RAM#
Pay:
$45.00 - $52.00 per hour

Manufacturing engineering: 5 years (Preferred)

4 years (Preferred)
SAP:
2 years (Preferred) automotive/power/energy industry: 2 years (Preferred)
