Months Job Description:
Working in a collaborative team environment (supporting other Engineers, Construction Management Group, Technicians, Vendors, General Contractors, etc.) to achieve project milestones. Performing machine trials and confirmation activities prior to daily line operations to verify equipment readiness and support a stable startup. Driving activities aligned with project KPIs, production targets and continuous improvement objectives. Troubleshooting, optimizing and improving automated equipment to reduce downtime and enhance line efficiency. Supporting equipment installation, modification, debugging, launch and stabilization activities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or similar technical field or 5+ years equivalent. A strong understanding of manufacturing systems, production equipment and line operations. Experience troubleshooting equipment issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective countermeasures. The ability to perform machine trials, confirm equipment readiness and support stable line startup. A disciplined approach to documenting breakdowns, abnormalities and corrective actions. The initiative and ownership needed to support both daily operations and longer-term improvement activities. The flexibility to support multiple lines, projects and technical priorities as needed.
Added Bonus:
Experience in the launch of battery production lines. Experience in cleanliness protocols (clean room) necessary for assigned area of battery manufacturing. Supported battery manufacturing trials to confirm equipment safety, quality, operation availability and overall efficiency Hands on technical capability in PLC programming, vision inspection systems (including X-ray), robotics, HMI, motion control and other related automation technologies.
