Job Description

Due to increased growth and expansion, Cataler North America, a Toyota affiliate, has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Process Engineer at our automotive catalyst coating facility in Lincolnton, NC. This is a high visibility position in a fast growing company.
Position Hours:
M-F, 8a - 5p The job duties include but are not limited to: Continuous improvement of manufacturing processes incorporating productivity, efficiency, quality and safety aspects New product/equipment/process introduction, documentation and training Capital project management and equipment installations Process data collection and reporting General technical support of the Production and Maintenance Departments Coordinating with external vendors for facility maintenance and repair Coordinating with local machine shops to fabricate machinery and tooling Product milestone reporting and presentations both internal to Cataler and to the customer
Requirements:
A four year degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology is preferred; however a combination of relevant education and experience will be considered. Prior employment in an automotive manufacturing environment with
IATF 16949
certification is a plus. Prior experience with control plans, process flow diagrams, and failure mode effect analysis preferred. Seeking a candidate with excellent technical skills in addition to good communication skills and teamwork. Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred. Knowledge of and hands-on application of pneumatics, sensors, actuators, control systems, robotics, and automation components are a plus. Cataler North America is an equal opportunity employer.
