Job Description:
- Lead the manufacturing engineering team.
- Plan and assign activities for the manufacturing engineering team.
- Perform yearly reviews for manufacture engineering team.
- Manage and mentor Manufacturing Engineers for their growth and development within the department.
- Risk and opportunities assessment, coordinate actions accordingly.
- Identifies and addresses complex investigations to solve problems.
- Conducts production investigations and determines root cause and associated corrective/preventative actions.
- Coordinate OPEX activities in the department.
- Design and optimize manufacturing workflows and resources.
- Coordinates the creation and maintenance of required documentation for manufacturing processes.
- Identifies opportunities and proposes solutions for preventing waste and production inefficiencies.
- Propose and support the implementation of actions to maximize safety, quality and reduce costs.
- Support installation and startup of new production systems.
- Initiate and follow up Changes Control for the department process.
- Coordinate and implement corrective and preventive actions in the department.
- Coordinate the resolution of issues and delays in production.
- Ensures that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations.
- Support development and improvement of production, processes, and personnel.
- Coordinates validation activities within the department.
- Coordinate DOE activities in the department.
- Coordinates investigation of production quality deviation and customer claims, approving reports.
- Stays up to date with international engineering trends by visiting trade shows, researching relevant emerging technologies, and/or evaluating supplier's capabilities.
- Qualification and training of personnel
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods including Injection Molding and/or high thruput automated assembling process
- Blueprint interpretation, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and programming knowledge
- Commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and listening skills.
- Experience in Project Management.
- Proven ability to analyze and troubleshoot production processes.
- Strong project/team management skills.
