Job Description
Design Engineer - Regional Fire Services Regional Fire Services is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable Design Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical design work, problem-solving, and managing multiple project responsibilities while collaborating with clients, builders, vendors, and internal staff. As a fire protection design and engineering company, this position will support the development, coordination, and production of fire sprinklers for fire protection systems across a variety of commercial and residential projects. Responsibilities Create and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD-based design software Assist with fire protection system layout and design documentation Review project plans, architectural drawings, and specifications Coordinate with builders, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams Prepare submittal packages, design documentation, and project-related paperwork Support project scheduling and design revisions Ensure drawings and documentation meet project requirements and applicable standards Maintain organized project files and records Communicate with clients and project stakeholders regarding design updates Assist with field coordination and project support as needed Qualifications Required Experience with AutoCAD Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills Problem-solving mindset Ability to read construction drawings and plans Reliable transportation Preferred Engineering, drafting, design, or construction-related background Experience in fire protection, MEP, construction, or building systems design Familiarity with permitting, plan review, or construction documentation Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, drafting, construction management, or related field Why Join Regional Fire?
