The role ensures reliable and efficient test infrastructure, supports troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and provides technical training to enhance operational readiness and product quality. Our client is a global technology leader known for innovation in PCs, servers, mobile devices, and smart infrastructure solutions. At their U.S. Fulfillment Center in Whitsett, North Carolina, the team drives excellence in manufacturing and logistics to support the Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG). This facility plays a critical role in enterprise server production and delivering high-performance infrastructure solutions worldwide. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge server platforms and manufacturing systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams across engineering, logistics, quality, and operations. Occasional weekend or holiday support may be required Key Responsibilities Test Network & Server Setup Build and configure manufacturing test network environments, including switches, PXE boot systems, and rack cabling Set up and maintain L1/L2 test servers used in automated and manual validation processes Issue Debugging & Reporting Investigate and troubleshoot issues impacting manufacturing test infrastructure Document and escalate problems with detailed root cause analysis and resolution tracking Equipment Procurement & Management Identify, evaluate, and procure test-related equipment including HiPot testers, racks, and diagnostic tools Maintain inventory and ensure proper calibration and quality control of test equipment across production lines Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with engineering, quality, IT, and logistics teams to ensure seamless test operations Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on testability and infrastructure requirements Training & Documentation Provide technical training to technicians and team members on test setup, equipment usage, and safety protocols Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and troubleshooting guides for test infrastructure Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field 3+ years of experience supporting server hardware testing or manufacturing test environments Preferred Qualifications Experience with Linux system administration Knowledge of network configuration protocols, including DHCP, FTP, and SSH Scripting experience with Python or Bash Familiarity with manufacturing test platforms such as UTP and server validation processes (AVT, Burn-In, FVT) Experience working with L1/L2 server architecture and PXE boot automation Understanding of test data visualization and benchmarking tools Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional manufacturing environment Equal Opportunity Employer Sirius Staffing is an equal opportunity employer.
