Company Description ICA Amphenol is comprised of five specialized facilities located strategically across North America, including Fort Valley, GA; Greenville, WI; Whitsett, NC; and Nogales, Mexico. With over 350,000 square feet of diverse manufacturing capacity, the company delivers comprehensive wire harness, cable, and electromechanical assembly solutions. ICA Amphenol specializes in catering to both high-mix, low-volume, and high-volume product requirements. The company is dedicated to supporting its customers with tailored, high-quality manufacturing capabilities. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Whitsett, NC, for a Quality and Manufacturing Engineer. The primary responsibilities include overseeing and improving manufacturing processes, implementing and maintaining quality assurance programs, and ensuring product and process consistency. The Quality and Manufacturing Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance, address production challenges, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Additional responsibilities include analyzing production data, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing to the development of engineering solutions for complex manufacturing challenges. Qualifications Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes and a demonstrated ability to improve production efficiency. Proficiency in reading complex electrical schematics, engineering drawings CAD/harness design software. Hands on experience with wire preparation, crimp validation, terminal pull testing and continuity testing. Expertise in Manufacturing Engineering and Industrial Engineering principles. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement process improvements. Knowledge of industry quality assurance standards and protocols. Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
IPC/WHMA-A-620
Certification a plus Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Quality or a related field required. Experience with electronic and electromechanical assembly processes is a plus.
