Job Description

Manufacturing engineering role focused on process support, BOM and change order coordination, production troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or 4+ years of related experience Experience with manufacturing processes Experience investigating operational issues and implementing solutions Knowledge of manufacturing engineering processes Knowledge of line and process design Knowledge of cycle imbalance analysis Knowledge of material presentation methods such as Kanban Knowledge of visual management methods such as 5S Knowledge of tooling design Knowledge of ergonomics and manufacturing safety techniques Knowledge of quality systems and methods including ISO 9001, Six Sigma, DFM/DFA, FMEA, and mistake-proofing Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Preferred Skills Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems Knowledge of Change Management Systems Knowledge of ERP systems Analytical experience related to manufacturing data and process performance Job Responsibilities Serve as the manufacturing representative on customer teams supporting BOM updates and releases Process engineering change orders and manufacturing change orders Train production operators on updated processes and requirements Establish routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, quality plans, and labor standards for new and current parts or programs of moderate scope Provide support and troubleshooting for current operations Investigate issues, analyze data, and implement solutions related to material flow, capacity, and productivity Implement safety, quality, delivery, and productivity improvements of small to medium scope Use electronic tools to support manufacturing engineering activities
