Be the technical lead for all facets of the Quality Engineering discipline. Assist in Machine Shop SRR and Producibility Initiatives by evaluating CMM Inspection data and working with a cross-functional team to eliminate defects Play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, overseeing rapid problem resolution, and ensuring overall effectiveness of stringent quality and compliance standards. Be responsible for project management of Quality Engineering responsibilities across all stages of assembly; from design-thru-delivery. Manage Corrective Action Plans associated with SRR reduction projects, customer escapes, audit findings, and other site-impacting issues. Provide technical guidance on quality standards, specifications, and processes. Develop, implement, and maintain quality work instructions, inspection job guides, and control plans. Utilize a variety of Root Cause Analysis tools to resolve complex issues and implement Level 1 Mistake Proofing Corrective/Preventive Actions. Review and approve engineering changes, manufacturing changes, and any other changes that impact quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering team and program IPT to ensure quality processes and products throughout product lifecycle. Collect, organize, analyze, and report data from various sources and systems to support decision-making. Identify opportunities for improvement in key defect drivers, aiming for targeted reductions in site metrics. Initiate and manage new Corrective Actions, lead cross-functional team meetings, and conduct thorough investigations to determine appropriate Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA). Provide measurable input for new products, processes, or standards to implement business strategies. Drive significant improvements in processes, systems, or products to enhance assembly performance. Promote a culture of risk identification and mitigation, contributing positively to team success. Continuously improve and maintain relevant skills, knowledge, qualifications, and certifications. Perform additional duties as assigned. What You Will Bring:
Bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, unless restricted by local laws/regulations. Experience in the aerospace industry. Advanced to expert knowledge in RCCA methodologies. Experience in Lean Six Sigma practices. Proficient in Excel, SAP. Demonstrated strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Highly skilled in data mining and analysis of large datasets. Proven experience in preparing and delivering presentations to various audiences. Background in project planning, management, and execution. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Commitment to drive and monitor continuous improvement. Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to collaboration. Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally. Pay Range:
$75,000 - $79,000 per annum Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. This role is considered an on-site position located in Jamestown, ND You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. Travel requirements:
