$95,000 - $115,000 per year Job Details - We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing systems. This includes the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing processes to achieve our goals of cost reduction, quality improvement, and safety enhancement.Responsibilities:
1. Design, implement and refine manufacturing processes and systems for cost-reduction, quality improvement and efficiency enhancement. 2. Develop and implement process improvements and technological upgrades. 3. Analyze manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancement of quality, cost reduction, and throughput. 4. Collaborate with design engineering and production team to apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) methodologies. 5. Develop and maintain manufacturing routing and Bill of Materials (BOM) in the ERP system. 6. Prepare and maintain detailed layouts of buildings and equipment. 7. Coordinate with customers and suppliers regarding product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. 8. Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics, troubleshoot manufacturing/business and assembly issues, material flow, project plans, production capacity, facility design and create process documentation. 9. Carry out the implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). 10. Utilize CAD software to prepare detailed drawings and designs.Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the metal stamping or CNC industry. 3. Proficient in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite. 4. Knowledge of 1099 Processing, Plex, ERP systems, and G-code programming. 5. Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies. 6. Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery. 7. Familiarity with industry standards such as GD&T, PPAP, APQP, and DFM.A bit about us:
