knowledge; lean manufacturing tools proficiency; strong communication and project-management skills; ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions. Job Description This engineering position develops, maintains, and optimizes manufacturing methods and processes across facilities while supporting new equipment acquisition, safety evaluations, and efficiency initiatives using APQP methodology. Core Responsibilities
  • Creating and maintaining APQP documentation including PFMEA, control plans, work instructions, and standard work.
  • Performing process qualifications to verify stability and conformance of manufactured products.
  • Designing safe manufacturing processes that meet OSHA standards and using customer demand data to align production capacity.
  • Leading process improvements based on production feedback and lean tools while determining capital project costs and justifications.
  • Managing new equipment purchasing, installation, and training to ensure safe and capable operations.
  • Communicating ideas effectively to achieve buy-in from management and manufacturing teams while managing multiple concurrent projects.
Position Requirements Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, production engineering, or related field (or 3-5 years equivalent experience). Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and strong problem-solving/data-analysis skills. Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high productivity. Physical Demands and Work Environment Primarily office-based with occasional shop floor presence requiring PPE (safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, hearing protection where needed).
