SRINTENG001 SUMMARY
The Senior Engineer position is responsible for design for manufacture analysis and the development of components, tooling, and processes while integrating components into Lincoln Industries production systems. This position involves leading teams and managing projects to achieve rapid transition to production. This includes supporting the quoting process, project planning, requirements capture, concept generation, 3D modeling, engineering analysis, prototyping, sampling, process and tooling development, work instruction creation, operations support, technical management of suppliers, and conducting initial factory runs. The individual will also be responsible for completing technical documentation for production release and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submittals to customers. This position works closely with our Business Development, Strategic Accounts, Operations, Materials Management, Quality, and Sourcing groups. The position requires supplier and customer interaction.WAGE TYPE

: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Drawing creation and interpretation utilizing 3D software (ProE and/or Solidworks) and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Knowledge of measurement equipment and methods: CMM, Faro Arm, datums. Generation of PPAP documentation, gage R&R analysis, PFMEAs, capability analysis. Technical support for manufacturing operations. Requirements capture. Creative concept generation. Test plan generation and execution. Root cause identification and technical problem solving. Supplier/value stream management for samples, tooling, capability, builds, and services. Technical project planning and management. Leading teams to deliver results across multiple, concurrent projects. Achieving results on time and budget while ensuring Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Great Place to Work. Building and fostering positive working relationships with all internal and external customers. Could potentially come in contact with hazardous chemicals Environmental responsibility is our commitment to our communities. Expected:
4 year Engineering degree- Mechanical, Agricultural, or Industrial.
Preferred:
Product, process and tooling development, transition to production, metal finishing, stamping, fixture design (racking, trimming, inspection, welding), Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.Communication Skills:
Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language. Must be able to communicate technical details and summaries effectively to Lincoln Industries engineering and business leaders. Must be able to communicate effectively to Lincoln Industries suppliers and customers. Must be able to influence and lead cross-functional teams.Other Skills:
