Job Description

Job Title:
Manufacturing Engineer
WAGE TYPE

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Work closely with Team Leaders and Management for process improvement.
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers.
  • Find new suppliers when needed.
  • Qualify new equipment for new processes and improving existing ones.
  • Implement changes to improve efficiency.
  • Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies.
  • Implement quality control systems to ensure product specifications.
  • Any other tasks as required to fulfill Tri-V's, values, and commitment to quality.
  • Use SolidWorks to create drawings, and prints.
  • Update and fix our automated systems.

Hr:
  • Monday
  • Thursday; 6:00AM
  • 4:30PM
  • Friday; 6:00AM
  • 2:30PM
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or
Experience:
Expected:
A.A.S. or B.S. degree in Manufacturing Engineering. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering position. Experience and knowledge of SolidWorks.
Preferred:
An in depth understanding of statistical processes to evaluate process capability. Previous molding experience. have a working knowledge of electrical components and automation.
Communication Skills:
  • Ability to effectively communicate with fellow employees and Management.
  • The ability to work well with others by effectively interacting, cooperating, collaborating, and managing conflicts with other people to complete tasks and achieve shared goals.
  • Ability to do basic shop mathematical procedures.
Other:
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required, with reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be able to work well with others in a team setting to get all assigned tasks completed in a timely manner with high-quality standards.
  • Must be able to work in a hands-on environment.
  • Fine motor skills.
  • Demonstrate complete and consistent independence when completing every job task in a timely manner with excellent quality.
