Junior Manufacturing Engineer:

Develop and maintain bill of materials, line layout, production control methods, clear assembly instructions, fixtures, and pFMEA's Plan, conduct and execute pre-production builds, with a vision for volume production Work collaboratively with engineering team to develop robust, production-ready designs Consult with suppliers to determine product specifications, working with supply chain team to purchase equipment, materials, and parts Interface with manufacturing partners for all stages of design transfer to ensure products meet performance criteria, delivering a quality product on-time To be successful in this role as a Junior Manufacturing Engineer, you will need the following skills: BS in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Must have experience in manufacturing environments, regulated environment preferred Experience setting up a manufacturing assembly line with scalability to ramp production Knowledge of component forming processes, assembly processes, and production line optimization Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles Experience with CAD software Experience with electromechanical assembly Experience with design for manufacturability and design transfer Passionate about understanding how things work, and solving tough technical problems Strong communication and time management skills
