$110,000 - $120,000 per year

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday (Standard Business Hours) Overview Join a globally recognized leader in the food manufacturing industry. We are seeking a high-caliber Plant Engineer to lead our automation initiatives, optimize high-speed packaging lines, and drive digital transformation at our Jersey City facility.
Mandatory Requirements Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or a related technical field).
Experience:
5+ years in plant engineering or automation within a high-speed manufacturing environment.
Technical PLC Mastery:
Expert-level hands-on experience programming and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLCs (RSLogix 5000 / Studio 5000).
Systems Expertise:
Proven experience with Rockwell FactoryTalk
HMI/SCADA
platforms.
Location:
Ability to work on-site in Jersey City. (Candidates from the Pennsylvania/Tri-State area are highly encouraged to apply). #Tech2026
Roles & Responsibilities Automation Optimization:
Program and refine PLC and HMI systems to ensure peak performance of high-speed packaging lines.
Technical Leadership:
Act as the lead SME for the maintenance team, resolving complex electrical failures and implementing root-cause corrective actions.
Project Management:
Lead engineering projects from concept to completion, including scoping, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
Data & Digitalization:
Use SQL for data extraction and leverage SCADA (Ignition experience is a plus) to drive digital transformation.
Compliance:
Ensure all equipment and automated processes strictly adhere to OSHA, food safety, and regulatory standards.
Benefits & Compensation Salary:
$110,000 - $120,000 (Commensurate with experience).

English/Spanish speakers are highly preferred and eligible for additional consideration.
