Manufacturing Engineer Job Description This Manufacturing Engineer position is responsible for overseeing manufacturing area activities to drive improvements in productivity, product quality, and safe operations. Responsibilities Oversee manufacturing area activities to enhance productivity and product quality. Implement and manage Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Work on continuous improvement projects to optimize processes. Ensure compliance and manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 3-5 years of experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. 3-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in process improvements and process optimization. Knowledge in TS16949 standards. Familiarity with the automotive industry. Work Environment The role involves working in a process group with 4 engineers, within a larger Lean group of 10 professionals, including ME/EE/Manufacturing/R D. The facility is a production and manufacturing site with over 250 employees. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
