Job Summary BOXABL is seeking a talented and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The Manufacturing Engineer will play a crucial role in optimizing our production processes, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering, with experience in lean manufacturing principles, process optimization, and product development. Job Duties and Responsibilities Optimize manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Provide engineering support for new product development initiatives, from concept to production. Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with the team to optimize component quality, cost, and delivery. Investigate and resolve manufacturing issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide training to production personnel. Identify opportunities for cost reduction through process improvements and value engineering. Makes layouts and optimizes material flow. Conduct research, make suggestions, and implement automation projects. Other duties as assigned. Experience and Education Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering roles, preferably in the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process optimization techniques. Strong knowledge in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing simulation tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to conduct root cause analysis. Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.) and regulatory compliance.
