Job Description

Job Summary - Group Leader (Manufacturing) | Production OEM Manufacturing is seeking Group Leaders for current and future openings at its Lockport, NY facility. This onsite, full-time role involves leading teams in Production, Quality, or Global Supply Chain to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage daily manufacturing operations and adjust plans as needed Drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance (SPQRCE focus) Lead teams, manage performance, resolve conflict, and drive accountability Oversee production, quality inspections, problem-solving, and built in quality initiatives Manage change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment Work EnvironmentPhysical Requirements Loud, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment Standing/walking for long periods; lifting up to 40 lbs periodically Bending, kneeling, climbing, operating equipment, and using PPE required Rotating shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) with frequent weekend work (up to 7 days as needed) Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of managerial experience Experience leading people, solving complex problems, and making decisions Strong interpersonal and conflict-management skills Basic computer skills (email, Word, typing) Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends Military background is a plus Preferred Qualifications Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement (CIP), TIP Automotive or manufacturing experience Union environment supervision Supply Chain or Quality experience Built in Quality initiatives, DFSS/Red X certification Knowledge of timekeeping systems Shift Details 1st 6am-2:30pm 2nd 2pm-10:30pm 3rd 10pm - 6:30am Additional Details No relocation assistance No immigration sponsorship available Supports OEM's transition to electric and autonomous vehicle manufacturing
