Job Description

With manufacturing facilities across multiple locations and a commitment to quality, Taconic specializes in innovative solutions for demanding industrial applications. Job Summary The Manufacturing Engineer plays a key role in improving production performance, implementing new manufacturing technologies, and driving continuous improvement across operations. This position will lead capital equipment projects, optimize manufacturing processes, and partner cross-functionally with operations, quality, supply chain, and sales to support new product development and production efficiency. Primary Duties in the Following areas Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization Capital Projects & Equipment Implementation Project Management New Product Development Support Data Analysis & Manufacturing Metrics Cross-Functional Collaboration Skills BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline with 2-5 years in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment. Experience with ERP systems (M2M or similar), CAD software, MS Excel and MS Word.
Lean / Six
Sigma training or certification preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills with experience in capital equipment sourcing and implementation. Must be able to manage technical projects from concept through implementation. Must have experience with performing time studies and production flow analysis, with the ability to work well with others, and prioritize based on changing work conditions.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
