Compensation:
$45/hr to $52/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
Must Haves:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field 5+ years of experience working within automotive industry in manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with crankshaft manufacturing processes Experience with balancing rotating components/assemblies Strong understanding of reciprocating and rotating mechanisms Experience with grinding and polishing of precision components Proficiency operating turning equipment (manual or automated) Experience with CNC lathes (set-up, operation, and/or programming)
Job Description:
Insight Global is looking for an Execution Engineer in Tonawanda, New York. The Execution Engineer will be responsible for supporting the installation of automation across the plant floor in supporting optimization efforts. This person must have strong industrial engineering experience, as well as the ability to implement and lead an install and project. This person will also need to have experience in creating plant floor layouts. As a Launch Execution Engineer, you will play a critical role in the planning, coordination, and execution of launch operations for our cutting-edge aerospace projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful and timely launches, adhering to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
Start each day with a morning priority meeting to align on key objectives and critical installations for the day Coordinate across teams (OEMs, contractors, internal engineers) to ensure the highest-priority equipment is being installed on schedule Oversee the installation of equipment across multiple plants, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met Act as the main point of contact to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in real time with OEMs and contractors Ensure all newly installed equipment goes through the G-compliant process, including: Partnering with plant safety teams Securing required red/yellow tag safety approvals Work closely with controls engineers to confirm: SCS (Safety Control Systems) validation MPS (Manufacturing Process Systems) validation Verify all pre-power-on and operator readiness requirements are complete by: Working through detailed checklists Ensuring all safety and operational criteria are signed off before equipment is used Support equipment transition into the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Operations) phase, including: Qualifying machinery for ongoing use Leverage a basic data analysis skillset to: Review production data as parts are run Evaluate whether processes are stable and capable Communicate findings and provide approval for equipment readiness to move into PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) During the production phase: Drive open issue resolution Continuously fine-tune processes Troubleshoot and resolve any new production or equipment-related issues
