Duration:
6+ Months Contract Job Summary Seeking an Automation Engineering Technician to support pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging operations in a GMP-regulated environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting automation, controls, and vision system issues on high-speed production lines while supporting manufacturing uptime and equipment reliability. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and support PLC-controlled manufacturing and packaging equipment Support automation systems, HMIs, sensors, drives, and vision systems Assist maintenance teams with controls and automation-related issues Perform fault recovery and system diagnostics on production equipment Support continuous improvement and equipment optimization initiatives Respond to automation issues during manufacturing operations Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams Ensure compliance with GMP and manufacturing standards Required Qualifications Experience with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley PLC systems Experience troubleshooting industrial automation equipment Background supporting automated manufacturing or packaging lines Experience working in GMP, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environments Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to support fast-paced production operations Preferred Qualifications Experience with B&R controls Pharmaceutical or life sciences industry experience Experience with vision inspection systems and packaging equipment Experience supporting high-speed manufacturing lines
