About the
Role:
As a CBRE Design Engineer Sr Consultant, you will be responsible for managing design ac ti vi ti es related to construc ti on and other projects for medium to large-sized clients. You will work closely with project teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality design solu ti ons.
What You'll Do:
Iden ti fy the client's project goals, objec ti ves, and quality expecta ti ons through data and research Act as a liaison between key stakeholders and the project team. Build and develop las ti ng rela ti onships Ensure HSSE compliance in all designs and crea ti ons within the project Oversee all phases of the design, documenta ti on, and construc ti on process. This includes programming through contract administra ti on, and the coordina ti on of consultants Work with the marke ti ng department to create complex proposals, schedules, and fees Manage all maters related to project ini ti a ti on and implementa ti on, development, and execu ti on. This includes financial performance and prepara ti on of consultant agreements Plan, organize, and supervise the work of a mul ti -disciplined project staff. This includes scheduling and adhering to budget projec ti ons Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objec ti ves Showcase exper ti se in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organiza ti on func ti on Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and exper ti se in most or all areas within the func ti on Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with

An ti cipates poten ti al objec ti ons and persuades others, o p en at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view Impact the achievement of customer, opera ti onal, project, or service objec ti ves across mul ti -discipline teams. Work is guided by func ti onal policies which impact the design of procedures and policies Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or opera ti onal plans in support of achieving func ti onal goals Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence Solve unique problems using standard and innova ti ve solu ti ons having a broad impact on the business Use innova ti ve methods to think beyond exis ti ng solu ti ons
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combina ti on of experience and educa ti on will be considered NCIDQ cer ti fica ti on or Architectural license required The innova ti ve mentality to develop methods that go beyond exis ti ng solu ti ons Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innova ti ve solu ti ons having a broad impact on the business In-depth knowledge of Microso ft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Expert organiza ti onal skills with an advanced inquisi ti ve mindset Strong leadership skills to mo ti vate the team to achieve broad opera ti onal targets with impacts on own job discipline, mul ti ple job disciplines, and department Ability to lead the exchange of sensi ti ve, complicated, and difficult informa ti on, convey performance expecta ti ons and handle problems Experience in the areas of staffing, selec ti on, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and reten ti on is preferred
