Dayton, OH Job Details 18 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Productivity software Full Job Description Develop, recommend, and trouble shoot tooling and equipment and manufacturing processes. Ensure new product launch success. Define and implement cost savings and process improvements.
Principal Responsibilities:
Prepares work to be cost estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research, applying knowledge of product design, fabrications, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators Design, recommend, and advise on manufacturing tools, fixtures, and fabrication equipment including repair and build Light design for stamping dies, locating fixtures and machining fixtures Provide trouble shooting of metal forming operations, including stamping, welding and press brake Create and maintain inspection drawings of parts using AutoCAD and Inventor Create and maintain Process Inspection Boards Develop manufacturing processes and improvements Assure product quality by developing robust processes, inspection methods, and tooling Contribute to quoting of new work through analyzing previous performance and developing process workflows Launch new programs and assist with creating tooling, Machining trials and improvements Other duties as assigned Safe Practice Guidelines /
Required Personal Protective Equipment:
Safety glasses with side shields as required. Steel toed/metatarsal safety shoes as required. Earplugs as required.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
