We operate 70+ all-electric injection molding machines and a large fleet of 3-axis and 6-axis robots across our Plain City, OH and Cleveland, TN facilities. This job would be based in Plain City, OH. We're looking for a hands-on Automation Engineer who thrives on taking automation projects from initial concept all the way through to full mass production. If you love designing, building, programming, and troubleshooting real-world automation systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this is the role for you. Key Responsibilities Lead automation projects from idea/concept through design, build, programming, integration, and launch into mass production Write and troubleshoot ladder logic for PLC-based controls Program and integrate 6-axis industrial robots and 3-axis Cartesian robots Integrate sensors, vision systems, and other automation peripherals Design and execute low-voltage wiring, electrical schematics, and panel layouts Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve efficiency, safety, and uptime Required Qualifications Proven experience automating manufacturing processes from concept to full production Strong proficiency writing and understanding ladder logic (PLC programming) Hands-on experience programming 6-axis robots and 3-axis Cartesian robots Solid background integrating sensors and building low-voltage control systems Ability to read, create, and troubleshoot electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Strong mechanical aptitude and "get-it-done" attitude in a plant environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with Niagara / Tridium platforms Networking and basic IT skills (a plus) What We Offer Competitive salary Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k) Employee stock ownership plan (ESOP)
